They said they was Vodafone trying to sell me broadband. I already looked into their prices and the length is 24 months. After a year they hike the price saying its because of RTI and inflation. You can end the call pretty fast just by asking for a 12 month contract but up till today, 1st June 2023, they refuse to offer it so they just lose interest and you can hang up.

The call was coming from Kingston upon Thames. It was likely telemarketing so I ignored it, plus it wasn't flagged as a spam number. Someone mentioned it was from Vodafone. I’m with Vodafone but wasn’t interested in any updates. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. If Vodafone needs to get in touch, they should do it through their app or by email. That way we can reply properly. Cheers.

The call came from Kingston upon Hull. It was a telemarketer, I just didn’t answer and the number wasn’t marked as spam either. Someone mentioned it might be Vodafone. I’m actually with Vodafone but I wasn’t looking to change or update anything. Been a loyal customer for ages. If Vodafone needed anything from me, they’d usually get in touch through the app or email, which is fine. We’d reply for sure. Cheers.

WARNING: This is defo not Vodafone. It’s just a trick. Even if you happen to be with Vodafone, they say they’re working for Vodafone but really they’re just agents allowed to sell phone contracts (plus other providers). Changing contracts is easy for them cos they got permission. In my view, it’s a total con if you think you’re dealing directly with Vodafone. You’re not chatting with the real Vodafone company BE CAREFUL! Never share passwords, personal details or your card info!

After conducting their investigation, Vodafone clarified that every number they use-be it for customer assistance, sales, or any sort of promotional call-commences with 08. They further affirmed that this number is indeed a scam; your best bet is to either ignore it, add it to your blocked contacts, or if you’re feeling cheeky, entertain them for a bit of laughter!
