An older mate of mine got a call from this number, saying they were from BT. The person on the other end kept asking for his account security info. Thankfully, he was on speaker, so I overheard the caller calling him “mate,” which seemed a bit dodgy. We rang BT ourselves and they told us straight away that it’s a scam.
