Got a robo call saying I've been accused of tax fraud by HMRC and that there's a warrant out for me. They gave me some case number and told me to press 1 to talk with the officer handling it. Definitely sounds dodgy to me.

Got a call from this blocked number, sounded like some dodgy scam with an American voice. They claimed there were unauthorised charges on my credit card and PayPal. Just the typical scammy thing - press 1, press 2, on and on. Definitely a spammer.

Got a robo-call with a woman talking in an American accent, but the start of the message cut out, so I had no clue who it was from or what they wanted. Then it scary warned me about legal trouble if I didn’t ring them back. Totally sounds like a scam to me!

Got a call from some group called Verso in London. They started by asking if I read newspapers, then wanted to know my age bracket. I didn’t want to share that info and they just hung up. The caller had a really heavy accent, not Indian though, something else I'm not sure about. Seemed a bit dodgy but not outright rude. I’ve marked the number as Unknown just to be safe, better to be cautious than take a risk.

So I kept getting calls where as soon as I pick up, they just hang up straight away. I don’t get what the point is - it can’t be for fun, can it? Plus, why don’t the phone companies just block these numbers or do something about it? They must have to pay a bill so they’re not exactly anonymous. It’s pretty frustrating!
