I kept getting calls from this number all through August 2016. Finally picked up on the 22nd and a woman said “Hello” but then didn’t say anything else and just went quiet.

Got a call from a woman speaking American English claiming she was from Microsoft. Told her we're on the TPS list (which seems pointless) and that all our machines are actually Macs. I've blocked the number now.

Absolute muppets, really acting like they’re some official Microsoft lot. The first call today I just told them off to buzz off and surprisingly that worked. The second time I played along a bit, and she started saying she’d lock my computer down because I wouldn’t play ball. It’s mad how they just keep banging on even when it’s obvious they’ve been found out. I’ll be reporting the number to the TPS, though I bet it’s just a sham number meant to sound legit.

Got a call this morning at around 9:45 from someone with an asian accent saying "this is Paul". Yeah right. And I'm the Queen of England! He claimed to be from Microsoft. I've heard that one so many times before! Not buying it, not now, not ever. Told him to stop wasting his time and my phone number.

Got a call from some idiot from Asia, I looked up the number but didn’t pick up. It just went straight to my answerphone. Honestly, I’d give him a good slap if I ever caught that twat!

Had a call this morning from an Asian bloke claiming he was with Microsoft. Told him I've already been in touch with genuine Microsoft support who said they don’t call customers out of the blue. I asked for his phone number to verify, but he kept insisting he was legit. In the end, I just ended the call. Make sure you Google these numbers before doing anything - it's definitely a scam.

Had some issues with my laptop, so I called Microsoft in Reading. The bloke sorted out the problems straight away and fixed all the errors. They only charged me £350 plus VAT, which seemed pretty good to me. Really grateful there’s folks like them about to lend a hand - otherwise, I’d be stuck making a trip to PC World first thing!

Got a call from this number earlier today, but I didn't get to pick up before it went straight to voicemail. They didn't leave any message either. I have no contacts or acquaintances from Guernsey, so it's a bit strange.

This same number has been calling my old mum loads, saying they're from Microsoft about her PC. I picked up one of their calls today and decided to mess with them a bit - the bloke had a heavy foreign accent, was asking how I was and whether I'd eaten lunch. I told him I’d enjoyed a lovely sandwich. Then I let it slip that my mum doesn’t actually own a computer, and guess what? They just hung up on me!

Got a call from someone talkin with a really strange accent. I started chuckling 'cause it sounded like a joke call. He kept asking why I was laughin and I kept askin who he was. Never did he mention Microsoft or anything like that! Also, he kept calling me love loads, which was odd.

this number claims to be from microsoft and kept going on about a virus on my pc. they wanted me to give them my number so they could "check", said my computer was about to crash or something. the call came from Guernsey - why cant they block these calls? it was really early in the morning and super annoying. obviously another scam. also, how did they even get my home phone number? im on the TPS and use telecom services, thought that would stop this stuff. had to get it sorted in the end. grrr!

Got a call about some Microsoft issue, I humoured the bloke for a bit. kept calling me "love", which I told him was a bit dodgy for a professional chat. he just went on about switching my computer on. After hanging up, he called back almost immediately. Foolishly, I let him carry on with his nonsense about viruses and how my computer would get blocked if I didn’t follow instructions. Half paying attention, then he threatened that someone would come round and arrest me. I told him the cops would be after him instead, then he just hung up on me.
