Heads up, got a call from a woman claiming to be part of the green funding scheme. She was reading off some script, seemed pretty rehearsed. Even though I’m on the TPS list, she mentioned my full name and address which was creepy. When I asked for her contact number, she didn’t recognise the 01480 944931 number that popped up on my phone and instead gave me a mobile number. She kept insisting she was connected to the government scheme but it definitely wasn’t the official green funding team. Felt dodgy, watch out!

some bloke rang me about a green funding thingy, claimed it was a government scheme, but then changed his mind and said it wasn’t. he offered a free quote for double glazing and a door. said my windows were over 10 years old so i could get new ones. if it was really free, why bother with a quote, i thought. im registered with tps, but he reckoned someone in my house must have agreed to calls at some point. the person he mentioned died over 11 years ago. when i told him that, he just hung up on me.

Today at about 2:23pm this number 01480-944931 rang our TPS-registered landline. Since we didnt recognise the number, we didnt answer and no one left a message either. Felt like one of those annoying scam calls. Just wondering, how on earth do these lot get their hands on numbers that are supposed to be on the TPS list?
