I've recently had yet another mysterious call on my mobile where the caller simply hangs up after saying “goodbye.” It's rather troubling, really. The concern here is that if you engage and pick up the phone, it merely confirms that your number is in use, paving the way for them to sell it off to other spammers. It's quite frustrating how BT is aware of these nuisance numbers yet seems to turn a blind eye to the whole situation. Honestly, I believe there should be some sort of accountability for BT in this matter-they ought to face consequences for allowing such antics to continue!
