I got a call about some energy grants, and the person mentioned my windows were over ten years old according to their records. How on earth would they have that info? Feels pretty dodgy to me, probably a scam.

some woman from a ‘green energy’ firm rang me up saying my windows were over a decade old. i told her no way, they’re only about 3 years old. i also mentioned we have solar panels, insulated walls, and loads of loft insulation. told her to stop wasting my time and maybe find a real job instead of trying to rip people off.

Received a call from someone inquiring for a Mr Wallace, though I’m definitely not him and the address they mentioned wasn't anywhere near mine! They quickly apologised and ended the call. It’s not a scam per se, but these kinds of calls keep popping up from various numbers quite frequently. Quite the nuisance!
