Watch out, this is a total scam pretending to be TalkTalk. They've been ringing from these numbers: 01480468973, 01480468974, and 01480468975. They keep trying to get into my computer for days now. I set up a virtual desktop to catch them out. What they do is steal your password files and install some kind of spyware (a sneaky search engine). When they're in your PC, they try to trick you with commands like “tree” or say “doing checks” but it’s all fake. Honestly, never, ever let anyone access your computer, no matter what they say.

Got calls from the same number about five times today, claiming to be TalkTalk. I got in touch with TalkTalk myself and they said that number belongs to their fraud department.

I've had this number ring me loads of times but when I answer, it's dead silent. Tried calling it back but my phone just tells me I've got the number wrong! Proper strange situation.

This number has called me a few times today when I wasn’t home, but they never left a voicemail. Sounds like typical sales or scam calls to me. I’ve blocked it now, and judging by the other reviews, I’m not the only one who thinks we should all do the same.

Usually I just ignore these calls but this time they said they were from TalkTalk, claiming my computer was streaming illegal films. They asked me to turn it on so they could fix it. I told them to stop calling, but I doubt they’ll listen.

on the 12th of april 2016 i got a call from someone claiming to be from talk talk. as soon as i asked him for my own name, he just hung up.

scam alert! some bloke said he was from talktalk and told me to get on my computer. then he made me visit a website and wanted to take control of it, which felt dodgy. i told him no way, asked him to call back later. he sounded proper annoyed, especially when i said he’d have to speak with my husband first!
