On the morning of 14th December 2017, at about 9:12, I got a call from 01480350718. The man on the line was asian but had a very english sounding name. He claimed he was from a government office saying I’d overpaid and was owed a refund. He asked for my bank details but I flat out refused to give any over the phone. When I said no, he started getting louder, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, said his name was Adam Smith. He told me I'd be owed some refund for charges I'd supposedly paid, mentioned some government thing called scheme 97 or something. Then he asked me to confirm my address, but I wasn’t having any of it and told him where to go before slamming the phone down!

Got a call from this number earlier today, a guy with an Asian accent asked if it was me. I replied "Yes, that’s me, what’s up?" then he just ended the call. Strange!

Yeah, this was definitely a scam call. Some bloke from India with a heavy accent claimed I'd overpaid tax and was due a refund. He asked me to confirm my address, then started to ask for my bank info. I kept him waiting and after a bit, he just hung up on me. Another dodgy scam attempt, but at least it was a bit amusing messing with him.

At about 4:54pm, I got a call from 01480350718. The bloke on the line spoke with an Indian accent and said his name was “Adam”. When I questioned how much cash they’re pulling from this scam, he started swearing at me, so I told him off back and ended the call, then blocked the number straight away. He kept insisting I was owed some kind of refund or whatever!
