He claimed he was from a government office saying I’d overpaid and was owed a refund. He asked for my bank details but I flat out refused to give any over the phone. When I said no, he started getting louder, so I just ended the call.9 yearsGot a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, said his name was Adam Smith. He told me I'd be owed some refund for charges I'd supposedly paid, mentioned some government thing called scheme 97 or something.
