I got a call from someone saying my PPI claim went through, but I’m sure I never made one. They said the bank would ring me next to verify everything, but just as we were talking, my signal dropped. Tried ringing back a couple of times since the caller ID looked like a local number, but all I got was “Number not recognised.” Seems like a scam, though I’m not exactly sure what they were after - probably trying to get my bank details or credit card info.
