Got a call from a number I didn't recognise. As soon as my answerphone started, they just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from 01-480 7xxxxx, but as soon as I sent it to my voicemail, the person who rang just dropped the call. Might be someone dialing in from India or another country, not too sure though.

Around 5:10 in the evening, got a call from a lady with an English accent, going on about replacing windows and doors if they're more than 10 years old. I told her no straight away. Then she mentioned gutters and fascia, and I said no again. She quickly thanked me and ended the call. I think I heard somewhere the government doesn’t allow cold calls like that, so seems to me like a company tactic to trick people into signing up and then charging them afterwards.
