There was a bit of a pause before the call connected and a woman with a foreign accent asked if I was Mrs Williams. I told her she had the wrong number. She kept insisting and asked if she really had dialled the correct one. When I asked who she was, she said it was regarding a car accident. I just told her to buzz off and blocked the number.

This was a bit strange, so I looked up the number to confirm. It was a soft-spoken bloke with an English accent asking to talk to Natalie. Could’ve been a personal call, I guess.

Somebody called and called me by the previous owner’s name, who I guess had the number before me. I’ve got this number for over a decade now, like 12 years or something, and in the early years I got loads of calls for him. Anyway, I told the caller I wasn’t that person. Then they asked if I’d been in a crash but I said no. After that, he just hung up.
