Been getting calls from different numbers with someone acting like they’re from BT’s tech support. They scare you into thinking your internet will be cut off unless you press one to speak to a technician who then leads you to a dodgy website and tries to steal your account details. This scam’s been happening for ages now, and I don’t get how they’re still allowed to carry on. My advice? Just end the call straight away. I reported it to BT, but they don’t seem to have much power to stop it.
