Somebody called saying they were from BT Openreach, claiming my internet was running slow. The accent definitely wasn’t local. I found it funny because we’ve got a different provider, and the person said something like "You laughed like a witch." The best way to handle these types of calls is to ask for the caller’s name, their manager’s name, and a phone number to ring them back on. They usually end the call quicker than you do.
