This number rang me up saying something about my BT call blocker running out soon. I couldn’t really make out what the guy was on about, so I just hung up. Then another call came through on a different phone, I'll note the number down in a bit, and it was the same spiel about my BT call blocker. After chatting with BT myself, it’s clear these calls are fake since BT never contacted me about anything like that!

I got a call from a person claiming to be from BT, saying my internet was running slow. The bloke wasn’t English and I struggled to make sense of what he was saying. I told him I was hanging up because the broadband is fine and there’s no issue.
