Got a recorded call today from a woman with an American accent, though sometimes it sounds a bit like an Asian or British one. She claimed to be from BT security, saying my internet’s been hacked and to press 1 for details. I rang BT myself and found out it’s a scam, so I never press that option. Still, these scammers keep calling me nearly every day from different numbers. My daughter’s really unwell at the moment, so I often answer thinking it’s something to do with her, but it’s always these annoying crooks.

Dodgy call-steer clear! Today I received a recorded message from a woman with an American accent (previously I’ve had some with British and Asian tones), claiming to be from BT Security. She said there’s an issue with my Internet connection and urged me to press Option 1 for further details. After contacting BT directly, I can confirm it’s a scam and I've made it a point never to press Option 1. Still, these lowlifes persist, calling from different numbers almost daily. With a family member unwell, I often answer, expecting news about them, but it turns out to be these charlatans again.
