Got a recorded call today from a woman with an American accent, though sometimes it sounds a bit like an Asian or British one. She claimed to be from BT security, saying my internet’s been hacked and to press 1 for details. I rang BT myself and found out it’s a scam, so I never press that option. Still, these scammers keep calling me nearly every day from different numbers. My daughter’s really unwell at the moment, so I often answer thinking it’s something to do with her, but it’s always these annoying crooks.

Got a dodgy call today, it was a lady with an American accent, said she was from BT Security warning me my internet was at risk and to press Option 1 to sort it out. I've had calls before with more British or Asian accents claiming the same. I rang BT myself and they told me it's a scam, so I never hit that option. Still, these scammers keep calling me nearly every day from all sorts of different numbers. Because a relative's poorly, I answer thinking it might be about them, but it's just these con artists again. Stay clear, it's definitely not legit.
