I got a recorded male voice saying something like "This is British Telecom internet service calling, your internet will be ended today. Press 1 for details or 2 to proceed with cancelling." I just hung up and blocked the number right away. Then I rang BT myself and of course, it wasn’t them at all. A really nice BT rep told me they’d never reach out like that to their customers.
