I get a few calls every week but they never leave a voicemail. So now, I just ignore any number I don't recognise.

Some bloke called me about my fridge warranty being expired and that I need to renew it. He wouldn’t tell me who he was even once, just kept going on about the warranty. Proper frustrating when I’m trying to get on with things!

I picked up after the phone rang, but the caller hung up right when my answer machine started.

I received a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was reaching out regarding my boiler contract, stating that it had expired. When I inquired about the company, she mentioned "home boiler service." I found it rather odd and asked which boiler she was referring to, and just like that, she abruptly disconnected the call. I immediately suspected a scam, considering my boiler is maintained by a totally different firm altogether. What struck me as even stranger is that she seemed to know my surname and my phone number. My number is hidden and only shared with a select few, so I can't fathom where she got that information. I've since blocked her number. Funny how some people operate!

This number kept ringing me non-stop, looked fishy to me!!

Yesterday I got a call but as soon as I asked who it was, the line just went dead. I've now blocked the number.

I ended up with one of those annoying nuisance calls. Lucky for me, they ended up paying just to get no response from me. Hope their day goes well!

The caller claimed it was regarding my boiler, but when I asked which company she was with, she answered Home Appliance Company. I questioned what boiler she meant, then she just cut the call. She had an Indian accent and oddly knew my last name. My boiler’s actually maintained by a totally different firm, so I figured it was a scam. I’m quite confused how she got hold of my name and number since only a handful of people have that info.

Received a call claiming that the warranty for my washing machine had run out, and they were offering an extension. They mentioned they'd send a confirmation letter, but it would come at a cost of £6.99 each month. The caller had an Asian accent and was well aware of my name and address.

Got a call from 01477652065, and after I asked something, the bloke just echoed my words back before cutting off. Just a waste of time, honestly. Best block that number for good.

So this Dolly Gupta and her crew of cheeky P4kistani scammers have been ringing me up with that so-called 365 Company Personal Medical Alert nonsense. She claimed they were based in Bournemouth, but couldn't even name the county properly - it’s Hampshire, for the record. They’re pestering us both over the phone and apparently sneaking over here in little boats across the Channel. I used to chuckle when my dad warned "the country's going downhill," but now I see he was spot on after all these years. These outsiders simply don’t share our values. Honestly, I say get Rwanda involved!

Had a call from a woman trying to scam me, asking for cash for a washing machine warranty that doesn’t even exist. Such a blatant fraud. Beware!

Got a call from an Asian lady named Jenny trying to push an extended warranty for my fridge freezer. I told her I didn’t even own one, and she quickly switched to offering insurance on my washing machine and other stuff. I let her chatter on for a bit before telling her I wasn’t up for it. The number on my caller ID was 01477 652065.

Definitely a scam! They claimed my washing machine warranty expired, but I don’t even have a washing machine. Total waste of time.

Got a call from an Asian woman telling me they were gonna lower my monthly payments to £24 because I hadn’t claimed on my boiler. I just told her to jog on and hung up. Both my boilers are brand new and still covered by warranty anyway.

Got a call about some kitchen gear insurance or something. When I told them the guy they were after never does business over the phone and prefers everything in writing, they just hung up on me. Bit odd really.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a woman who addressed me by name, using a number that matched my local exchange. She mentioned her name-though I can't quite remember it-and claimed to have knowledge of our boiler maintenance history, stating that we hadn't had any in the past year. When I pressed her for more details about who she was and how she came by this information, she decided to end the call abruptly. Quite odd, to say the least!

I got a call from an Asian lady saying my washing machine’s warranty had expired. Well duh, it’s 6 years old, so of course it’s not covered anymore. Pretty sure it was a scam!

I received a rather persistent phone call from an individual with a pronounced Asian accent. He was keen on discussing an extended warranty for my refrigerator, washing machine, boiler, and a few other bits and bobs around the house. Strangely enough, I had no interest in engaging further with this unsolicited caller. Rather courteously, I requested him to take my number off his list and assured him I'd prefer not to hear from him again!

I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who wanted to talk to me by name. When I confirmed it was me, the call suddenly had some clicking sounds and then just cut off. Feels like it might be one of those scams.

My mum got a call from this number, and the woman on the line claimed the warranty on her fridge was about to expire. The lady had an Asian accent and kept pushing for my mum’s bank info. Mum was pretty wary and said she needed to check with me first. Then the caller insisted the details were needed immediately to send an email. After that, she said a supervisor would talk to mum and gave her a number to confirm if it was genuine. Honestly, the whole thing felt so dodgy and the caller was quite rude. There’s no way my mum fell for it!

It was one of those silent calls, which I reckon are probably made by some automated system, then the line just went dead on me.

Got a call from a woman with a weird accent claiming my appliance warranty had run out and offered to renew it right then and there. The thing is, I don’t even have any appliance cover. Ended the call pretty quick. Just another dodgy scam trying to take advantage.

Received a call about extending the warranty on a fridge. When I asked which brand, they said Hotpoint. I told them I don’t own any Hotpoint fridge and ended the call. Honestly, it felt dodgy right from the start.

So I got a call from some guy who said his name was "John," but he already knew my name. He started going on about the guarantee on my fridge-freezer being expired. Well duh, it’s at least 15 years old! Totally felt like a scam to me.
