I received a call that claimed our Amazon Prime Account would be charged over £79, supposedly to ensure our ongoing access to their services. They asked us to press 1 to speak to someone or just stay on the line (not completely sure). We've had about six of these calls now, some coming in as early as 8.30 in the morning! The curious thing is, we don’t even have a Prime Account, so I’m baffled as to how they managed to get our phone number. I can’t help but think it must be quite unsettling for some individuals.
