I received a rather chatty call from a bloke who informed me that I'd supposedly been in an accident in the past three years. I cheekily queried whether I ought to be dressed for the discussion, and, well, let's say my humour didn't land well - he was far from amused. His tone shifted, becoming quite cross and nearly aggressive. In an attempt to keep it light, I remarked, "I had a paper cut the other day; what's that worth?" To my surprise, he promptly hung up! The caller identified themselves as Accident Claims Line - typical telemarketing nonsense!

Absolutely - I experienced the same. A chap with a Scouse accent rang me up, trying to pull a fast one with a local area code. He was claiming I’d been in some sort of accident. Really? I hardly think so!
