Phone number ☎️ 01476300019 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance scam pretending to be from BT's Telephone Preference Service or Telephone Preference Management. Callers often ask for sensitive bank details like sort codes and account numbers, sometimes using rude or pressing tones. They frequently call multiple times a day, with some calls going silent or hanging up immediately once answered. Some targets have noticed the callers drop interest when they won’t speak to the person named or who supposedly pays the bills. Many are suspicious of the authenticity and believe it to be a scam trying to steal banking info, often involving callers of South Asian descent. The numbers used appear to be frequently changed, making it hard to stop the calls. Several have reported informing their banks about the scam attempts.

So, I jokingly said, "Why don't you just cut the crap and take my card details then?" The guy insisted it wasn’t a con, but said he needed to speak with whoever pays the phone bills. When I told him it was my husband, he lost interest in me completely. Had two more calls that same day, and I just told them we don’t take kindly to cold callers anymore (except maybe them). That seemed to do the trick, and thankfully, they’ve not rung back since.Telephone Preference Service8 yearsI've been getting loads of calls from these lot claiming to be the TPS.
