They claimed to be from O2, but there was some strange noise in the background. Sounded a bit fishy to me.

I picked up and said hello, got no reply, said hello once more and still nothing, then they just hung up. Bit suspicious if you ask me!

When I picked up the phone, the person on the other end didn't utter a single word. It was just silence. Curious, I decided to ring the number back, only to be greeted by a recorded message that said something along the lines of, "Please hold... our agents are presently engaged." I suspect they might impose charges for being on hold, but I'm not entirely certain. In any case, I've gone ahead and blocked that number.

Got a call from 01475 910647, picked up and the call ended straight away. I rang them back but got a voicemail saying "this call is important to us, please wait, our agents are currently busy". Not paying 16p a minute for that, no thanks!

Again, got a spam call from somewhere in Scotland. Can’t believe this is the eighth one just this week! I don't pick up the phone if I don’t know the number, and none of these lot ever bother to leave a voicemail. I keep blocking them but it feels like they're just relentless! Proper annoying.
