This morning around 08.10, got a call from a guy called Michael, who claimed he was from 'Microsoft organisation' and even knew my name. Right away, I was pissed off and told him to 'F##k off' - and I’m not sorry about it. Just block, report, and be careful with these calls.

Got a call at 08:26 this morning from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft. He said I had to let him on my PC or else they’d have to disconnect me for good because some strangers were messing with my computer. I just told him to ring me back another time, like way later on.

I played along and said ‘Let me guess, you want my IP address now?’ and he immediately cut the call. Don’t be fooled by this, they’re after your IP to get into your PC from afar.

Had a bloke from Microsoft ring me just now, seemed quite polite. He asked if I was having a good day, which I said I was. Then he mentioned there was an issue with my computer. I replied wit something about the weather, asking if he had any snow where he was? We just had some snow here but it’s gone now, replaced by rain - makes the day dark but better than nothing. Before I could finish, he cut the call off without saying if there was snow or not. Bit odd, really.

Curious, I inquired about how he obtained my phone number. He insisted it was linked to my registration details, yet he seemed unaware of my name. I ended the call rather abruptly.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft and claimed my computer was hacked and involved in some illegal gambling stuff. I told him all my computers were off at that time, but he insisted I turn one on so he could give me a code to check. I asked which operating system he meant since I have different ones on my devices, and suddenly he started shouting. Typical Microsoft fraud line. They’ll try to coax you into downloading some dodgy antivirus software. Just steer clear of it-these tricksters are up to no good and could easily install a virus on your device, leaving you to foot the bill for the cleanup.
