Got a call at 08:26 this morning from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft. He said I had to let him on my PC or else they’d have to disconnect me for good because some strangers were messing with my computer. I just told him to ring me back another time, like way later on.

Some guy called me claiming to be from Microsoft saying my computer had issues. I just ended the call but when I dialled 1471 to see the number, it mentioned I might get charged if I call back. Feels like they’re earning from this somehow - hard to believe anyone still falls for that old trick nowadays?

Got another supposed Microsoft support call about an issue on my PC. When I asked her to say her name again, she snapped "I don't repeat myself." Then I told her the call was not legit, I don't even have Microsoft stuff installed, and I'd be reporting her for scamming. She just hung up straight away.

Got a call from this number at about 7:45 am today. Just like others have said, they claimed there was something wrong with a computer. Thing is, they called my 85 year old mum, who doesn’t know anything about computers and has never even used one. Honestly, these scammers should be stopped for good.

Was at me mums house and picked up the phone, some bloke called Michael answered. He had a sort of Asian accent and claimed there was an issue with my Windows7 computer. I played along and said ‘Let me guess, you want my IP address now?’ and he immediately cut the call. Don’t be fooled by this, they’re after your IP to get into your PC from afar.

Had a bloke from Microsoft ring me just now, seemed quite polite. He asked if I was having a good day, which I said I was. Then he mentioned there was an issue with my computer. I replied wit something about the weather, asking if he had any snow where he was? We just had some snow here but it’s gone now, replaced by rain - makes the day dark but better than nothing. Before I could finish, he cut the call off without saying if there was snow or not. Bit odd, really.

I received a call from a chap with an Indian accent on the 3rd of March, 2018, who claimed to represent Microsoft and offered assistance. Instantly, I felt a sense of doubt creep in. Curious, I inquired about how he obtained my phone number. He insisted it was linked to my registration details, yet he seemed unaware of my name. I ended the call rather abruptly.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft and claimed my computer was hacked and involved in some illegal gambling stuff. I told him all my computers were off at that time, but he insisted I turn one on so he could give me a code to check. I asked which operating system he meant since I have different ones on my devices, and suddenly he started shouting. That’s when I realised it was a scam, so I just hung up and blocked the number (01475728373).

Typical Microsoft fraud line. They’ll try to coax you into downloading some dodgy antivirus software. Just steer clear of it-these tricksters are up to no good and could easily install a virus on your device, leaving you to foot the bill for the cleanup.

It was an Asian woman calling, and I was just bored so I let her chat for a bit. Eventually, I told her she was a con artist and well, she totally lost it! She said I was being horrible and a terrible person, claimed not everyone was out to scam, and just because I was awful didn’t mean others were. She even said I needed to see a shrink! In the end, she completely lost her temper and slammed the phone down ??

Some muppet rang me at 7:45am on a Saturday and nearly gave me a proper scare. He was going on about being from Microsoft and that my PC was involved in dodgy gambling activities. I told him it was off, and he insisted "even off, it can still get hacked." What a load of nonsense. I've flagged the number as risky because he was clearly trying to scam me if I’d bought it. Even now, hours later, my heart’s still not calmed down.
