I got a phone call claiming to be from BT. They knew my address and postcode, which was a bit concerning. They wanted me to hop on my laptop and grant them some sort of access. Naturally, I saw right through this dodgy scheme and didn’t take the bait.

Got a call from someone named “thomas” who said he was with the call blocking team. I told him no such team exists and then ended the call. I've now blocked the number using bt call protect.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from a call blocking company, asking for money to turn the service back on. I told him no thanks and blocked the number straight away. Luckily, I already use BT Call Protect so I’m covered.
