Got a call on 27/05/16 around 1:37pm. The woman on the line wanted to talk to me by name, but I didn’t say anything to confirm. She then claimed she could lower my phone bill. I told her I’d recently switched providers and had an 18-month contract. Without a word, she just cut me off. So impolite and annoying! Another bothersome call. Best to just ignore it, although I bet they’ll have a new number next time.

Had a rather strange call from an individual claiming to be after Mr Edwards. Did a bit of digging and discovered the area code points to Greenock. Decided it was best to end the conversation abruptly and subsequently blocked the number. Just a heads up - definitely an attempt at scamming!

The individual on the line, who had a distinct Indian/Pakistani accent, was peddling some sort of scam regarding phone bills. When I requested their contact number, they provided me with a made-up one. Quite the dodgy situation!

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent trying to convince me to switch to some service provider I'd never even come across before. When I told her I wasn't interested, she politely thanked me and ended the chat. She definitely knew I was with TalkTalk already. Recently, I've had a couple of calls from other numbers, all acting like they know I’m still a TalkTalk customer - makes me wonder if it’s linked to that huge data breach last year.
