I got a call from someone claiming to be Visa. They addressed me as "Dear valued customer" and told me there was a £900 charge on my Visa card. They said if I didn’t recognise it I should press 1. I didn’t do that. The number had a local area code but showed as unknown on my phone. I’m pretty sure banks don’t ever call customers with automated messages like that.
