Got a call from someone saying they were from the TPS. I told them I’m already signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, but they said my current registration was ending and tried to push me into buying a different service. When I mentioned I thought it sounded like a scam, they warned me that if I didn’t accept their deal, any scam calls I got later would be my fault. I’ve reported the number to the TPS, but honestly, it feels risky because I’m sure they’d just ask for even more personal information next.
