I phoned the number back and found out it’s a legit company called Well Happy, working with the NHS. They’re partnering with local pharmacies to offer free health assessments for people aged 14 to 74, since lots of folks don’t usually get checked. The lady I spoke with said I could look them up online to verify for myself. As I already get regular check-ups, I told her I wasn’t interested and she took me off their list with no fuss. I called a few times just to be sure and every time they confirmed the same thing - definitely genuine. 6/3/20

I received a call from a woman named Natalie, who was attempting to schedule a health assessment for those over 40. I mentioned that my doctor’s surgery offers such checks, and she simply acknowledged my response and abruptly ended the call. Quite odd, really!

Got a call from someone saying they wanted to speak to Brian, which isn’t me, and they said they were from the NHS. I asked how they got my number, and they said from NHS records. I told them they’d broken the DPA by using someone else’s name. Then they got really rude and said their manager would call me back. Good luck with that, I’ve blocked the number!

Got a call from this number recently. The guy actually knows my name, which is weird because I’ve never met him before.
