Got a call today from a number with my local area code, so I picked up. It was an automated voice, sounded like a woman saying there was £900 taken out of my bank account. Definitely a scam. I probably wouldn’t have even bothered if it wasn’t for the familiar dialling code. As soon as I realised what it was, I ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Don’t trust calls like this!
