Got calls from 01474 628011 loads of times now. Since I’ve been working from home, I haven’t been able to pick up, and every time I ring back (it’s a local number), there’s some awful noise or crackling down the line. After trying a couple of times, I finally got a recorded message saying something like “Please stay on the line” but then it just cuts off after a few seconds. Proper annoying! I’ve just signed up with the TPS on 0845 070 0707; they say it takes about 28 days to kick in but it’s free, so fingers crossed this puts an end to it.

Whenever I pick up this number, there’s always a really long pause before the call suddenly just drops.

There was a voice, definitely a woman’s, but the connection was so choppy I couldn’t make out much, so I ended the call. I tried ringing back, but all I got was one of those “Your call is important, please hold” automated messages. Not interested, so I just put the phone down. Seems like it was one of those call centre things.
