I got a call from an Asian guy who, when I asked him for my info, couldn’t really give me much. After me pressing him a few times, all he had was my surname and address. I told him straight, if you know who lives here, you should be able to answer my basic question. I even warned him that if I look his number up online, it’s likely to say ‘scammer’! Honestly, folks, don’t let these lot push you around - make them prove they actually know your details. If they can’t, then chances are they don’t have your full info like proper companies that you actually deal with do.

Got a call that rang once then cut off. Since I was expecting a parcel, I rang the number back. An automated voice said something about trying to reach me for days and that I might have won a prize. I didn’t bother listening any longer and just blocked the caller. After that, I got around five calls from similar numbers, all doing the same one-ring then hanging up thing.
