Got a call from someone saying they were from BT tech support. Told them straight away to stop calling cos I knew it was a scam. The voice sounded just like a scammer who’d called a few days back, also claiming it was about my internet. I’m not even a BT customer. I rang BT myself to check and they confirmed they never call from regular landline numbers. Best thing is to just ignore these calls and don’t engage at all.

Someone claiming to be from BT's tech support kept ringing me. I told them to stop cause it felt like a scam, sounded just like the one who called a few days back about my internet. I don't even use BT. I rang BT proper to see if the call was real and they said no, they never call from regular landline numbers. Best to stay clear and not engage with these calls.
