Late last night, this number rang my mum. The bloke had a strong Asian accent and asked for her by name. When she said yes, he just said he loved her out of nowhere. She ended the call straight away and told me about it the next day. I made sure to block the number so we won’t be getting calls from them anymore.

The callers all seemed to have accents that were quite foreign, and it was rather strange - as soon as I mentioned that I’ve never been charged anything by my bank, they abruptly ended the calls. Got a call from someone saying they were with the Ministry of Justice about some overpaid bank fees. Since when does the Ministry get involved with that kinda stuff? What a load of rubbish. I played along for a bit, but when he asked when I’d be free for a call from his ‘ministry of justice’ supervisor, I couldn’t be bothered to give him a time. So I said it was fine, he could just give the fake refund to someone else then. That’s when he turned rude, told me to f**k off and even said he hoped I’d drop dead. Proper nasty behaviour.

Got a call today at 12:14 from a bloke with an Asian accent introducing himself as John William. He claimed he could help get back some bank fees. I told him I wasn’t interested, and then he suddenly started calling me a "bi#ch." I was stunned and asked him to repeat that, but he just hung up. I tried dialling 1471 to check the number, but it came back as "number not recognised," which was pretty odd and a bit confusing.

This number’s definitely dodgy. I picked up and said hello a couple of times but they just ended the call, probably figured it was no use trying with me. When I rang it back, it wouldn’t even connect, said it was an invalid number. Looks like just another scam from overseas pretending to be a UK number, and of course it’s not blocked by the TPS!
