10 monthsThis number keeps calling our business stating they are from BT, same woman each time, NOLEEN about renewing our broadband contract. I have spoken directly to BT and they have advised this is a SCAM CALL. They will never ring you regarding renewal, pricing or your contract. Link sent to report the number, still received another call this morning and have advised them I have reported them. If you search for Getech Ltd this number is not on their website. PLEASE DO NOT INTERACT WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!BTNOLEENGetech Ltd10 monthsWe get calls from this number to our office quite often, usually from a lady who says her name is Noleen, asking about renewing our internet service. We reached out to BT themselves and they told us flat out they never ring customers to talk about renewing contracts or anything to do with pricing. BE WARNED - DON'T ENGAGE WITH THESE PEOPLE!!NoleenBT1 yearThis number rang me a couple of times back to back. Whenever I picked up, nobody said anything and then just ended the call.1 yearGot a ring just as I was waking up but when I answered there was no one there.1 yearIf you want to know more about Getech Ltd, a top BT Premier Partner, just check out their website at https://www.getech.co.uk/bt/ or give them a ring on 01473956300.Getech LtdBT1 yearGot a call from BT Business about the broadband service at my workplace.BT1 yearI got a call from a well-spoken lady who sounded Asian and spoke pretty good English. She said she was from BY Business and told me my contract was about to end. When I asked for the date, she first said August, but then changed it to August 2026. She was trying to sell me a new router and a booster, even though I had just had a brand new router installed before last August and it’s working perfectly. I told her to just email me the info, but later found out this number is known for scams. Honestly, I hope she gets covered in fleas or something!BY Business2 yearsI got a call from someone saying they were with BT and that my contract needed renewing. They even had my BT account number, which made me suspicious. When I asked more details, the person claimed their firm was a "partner" of BT. That’s when I decided to just hang up.BT2 yearsThis lady kept ringing insisting she was calling from BT, offering a new discounted contract renewal. She couldn’t properly verify who she was but somehow had my BT account number. Most of what she was saying sounded believable, but a few bits didn’t quite add up, so I decided to just hang up.BT2 yearsTotal scam this one. I told them to send me an official email from BT with all the info so I could check if they were legit. Of course, they couldn’t because they’re fake. Had a right laugh hearing her try to come up with reasons why no email could be sent.BT2 yearsGot another call from Angel today, trying the same old trick about me needing a new phone when I really don’t. Now they’re pushing fibre broadband too, which I absolutely don’t want. It’s really annoying and stressful. I’ve reported this to BT before but they haven’t taken any action.AngelBT2 yearsThey called us three times, claiming they were from BT, but we are aware that’s not the case since we recently extended our contract for two years back in December 2023. We put them in their place and kindly requested they cease calling. Just a heads-up to everyone!BT2 yearsJust had a call claiming to be BT, but yeah, defo scams - don’t bother, just hang up!BTBest2 yearsThey said they were from BT and even had my email plus my BT phone number. I don’t usually share my BT number, so I thought it was real at first. But soon I found out they have no connection with BT Business Broadband whatsoever. This number is a known scam source around the UK, and honestly, I’m shocked BT hasn’t blocked it yet. Because I’m unsure how much trouble I might’ve been dragged into, I’ve gone ahead and changed all my important passwords and signed out from all my key accounts on every device.BTBT Business BroadbandUK2 yearsI wasn’t really sure about the person who called me.2 yearsI received a call from a lady named Annaline Gopaul yesterday, claiming to represent BT regarding our broadband renewal - though, in reality, that's not due at all. She tried her luck again today, and I informed her that we’ve just settled a new agreement. She mentioned she would amend her notes accordingly. I'm curious if she'll be back on the line tomorrow. Our account manager at BT flagged this as a potential scam. Do be cautious!Annaline GopaulBT2 yearsGot a call from a lady who asked for me by name, saying she was ringing from BT about our business broadband contract supposedly ending. Funny timing - my boss had chatted with BT just a couple of days ago and sorted a new fibre plan. You’d think if she was really from BT, they'd be aware of that already.BT2 yearsSomebody called me saying her name was Nancy, said she was with BT offering a discount on my broadband if I agreed to renew it that day. I told her I was still waiting for the price info she said she emailed me. She insisted she sent it last week and gave me an email address, which seemed totally random. When I said that wasn’t BT’s email and asked for the correct one, she wanted me to give it to her but I refused, saying if she was legit she’d have it already. Then she said she had to check with their IT team if it was ok & just hung up on me!NancyBT2 yearsThey've rung me up three times so far, saying they're from BT and want to renew our business broadband contract because it’s supposedly expired. Each time, I’ve said I won’t agree to anything unless they send me the pricing info by email or post - I don't just want to believe what they say over the phone. They promise to send the details but never actually follow through. I’m not sure if they’re legit BT at all, since they never ask for anyone by name or do the usual security checks that BT always does.BT2 yearsGot a call earlier from someone called Noleen claiming to represent BT Business, saying our contract was finished and that BT had passed their contracts on to her company, though she never mentioned the company’s name. I phoned BT to check and they confirmed it had nothing to do with them. It might be linked to BT Mobile closing down in August 2024 with contracts moving over to EE, which could be how they got my mobile number since they called that line. I hung up straight away, but they kept ringing, so I’ve blocked the number now.NoleenBT BusinessBTBT MobileEE3 yearsBasically, they work with BT to sort out splitting the old-style phone lines from the broadband connections as a service for BT.BT3 yearsIm not saying this number is for sure legit, but I got a call on my landline and then right after on my mobile from the exact same number. Hardly any companies have both my phone numbers, so that was a bit odd. Im not saying to trust them or anything - just havent figured out who it is yet.3 yearsI attempted to indicate that they were representing BT, but it quickly became apparent that their knowledge of our phone system was inaccurate, which confirmed they weren't actually BT. It felt more like a company attempting to usurp our BT account. When I informed them of their mistake, they simply hung up!BT3 yearsThey said they were BT, but that wasnt true at all. I reckon it's some third party company trying to hijack BT accounts. They didnt have any real info about my phone line, which made it obvious they werent with BT.BT3 yearsThis phone number purports to represent BT, however, our firm has moved on to a different service provider. They incessantly assert that our contract is due for renewal, despite our knowledge that it isn't. Their persistence is quite bothersome. Exercise caution if you receive a call from them.BT3 yearsI contacted BT, and it turns out they're not associated with them at all. Just a heads up, folks! Stay cautious!BT3 yearsAlways hangs up without saying a word.3 yearsI received a call from someone named Angel claiming to be from BT regarding a renewal, but I'm rather sceptical about its authenticity. When I looked up the number she used, it didn't show up as a legitimate BT contact, which raises my suspicions.AngelBT3 yearsThe name that popped up on my caller ID was Kaylin Reddy, supposedly reaching out from BT concerning my business account. However, given it was only 8:10 in the morning-well before standard working hours-and considering I'd just renewed my account not too long ago, it all felt a bit dodgy. So, I decided to cut the call short and hang up.Kaylin ReddyBT3 yearsI've no clue who this could be. They don't bother to leave a voicemail either.Submit Your Own Report (01473 956300)
