This number has been persistently calling our home phone, despite having a call-blocking device in place. Strangely enough, there's only silence on the other end when we pick up. Quite odd, really!

I can assure you, this is definitely not a fraudulent call. I received a message from My Health Book regarding a modification to my second vaccination appointment, and it was all due to stock shortages of the vaccine.

I received a message regarding a jab which included a number. So, I decided to give them a ring. I sat in the queue only to reach the front, only for the line to just keep ringing without anyone picking up. What a waste of time!

I received a rather unexpected call from the GP Federation regarding scheduling a vaccination, I assume they were referring to the Covid jab. They seemed to have my first name and were aware of my GP practice, which I found quite surprising. It's particularly odd since I've already made it clear that I'm not interested in receiving any vaccine.

The hyperlink seems to go awry when entered on another gadget, which is why I took the liberty of verifying the phone number. However, I took a chance and clicked on the link from the text message, and lo and behold, it redirected me to an NHS website. I presumed it was authentic. ANYHOW...if I can cycle over 30 miles, I should be able to get the vaccine! My nearest vaccination centre was fully booked until 2022, so at that juncture, I opted to throw in the towel.

From what I gather from the previous remarks, it seems this is all about arranging a COVID jab. However, I'm a tad sceptical as I had my vaccination over a fortnight ago.

Do bear in mind, this is absolutely NOT junk mail. It's a private enterprise brought in to handle appointments for Covid-19 vaccinations. Trust me, using the website linked in your message is a far more straightforward approach, given that waiting on this phone line is painfully lengthy. Now, for those who are grumbling about the NHS's organisational issues, it's important to understand that this firm, along with many others like it, is NOT part of the NHS. They are private entities attempting to line their pockets, with the government effectively facilitating this through funds sourced from taxpayers, all during a national health crisis. It reminds me of the school meal debacle, where a private firm asserted that a meal package was valued at £30, while the actual worth was a mere £5, pocketing a hefty profit of £25. If you're dissatisfied with the service provided by this private outfit, I suggest you take it up with your local MP - especially if your representative happens to be Matt Hancock, the MP for West Suffolk, as that area falls under this company’s operations.

I stumbled upon my-healthbook.co.uk, which serves as a booking service for NHS Covid-19 vaccinations. To be honest, I had to make several attempts online before finally securing an appointment, as slots were disappearing in no time. Cheers, Steve Winder.

Simply hop onto the internet and enter their NHS number; you’ll promptly receive details of their vaccination appointment, just as we did!

It's for real! I called and I've got an appointment scheduled for tomorrow. 👍

Got a message that appeared to be from my GP about arranging a COVID holiday. Seems rather suspicious, to be honest. Just had my initial hospital visit yesterday, so if that text turns out to be legit, it really highlights how disorganised the administrative side of things is!

I recently managed to secure a legitimate phone number for booking Covid appointments. I had the patience to hang on for nearly 20 minutes before someone picked up, but it was worth it! They were able to offer me an appointment for the very next day, all within the Mid Suffolk region. Quite relieved to finally get through!

I gather this is a private outfit collaborating with NHS services. I've now been at it for three days attempting to make a booking, yet obstacles keep popping up.

Just wanted to share an experience my mother had with this number - she received a message about a COVID-19 vaccination. It's the genuine article, and I've managed to secure her appointments through their online system. They’re opting for texts instead of letters to speed things up, which makes perfect sense given how slow the postal service can be. However, there’s a bit of a hitch; I heard they’ve had to cancel some slots at our local vaccination centre. To top it off, my mum got two missed calls from this number at 23:30 last night! I tried to get in touch with them this morning, but their lines are absolutely jammed.

Today, my mother received a rather suspicious letter instructing her to either ring a number or head online. However, when attempting to visit the website, it appears to be nonexistent, leaving us unable to make any online bookings. This situation is raising red flags for me, as it all seems rather dodgy. According to the NHS site, communications would come in the form of a letter, text, or email, and to secure a booking, one requires a 10-digit number. However, the reference on this letter contains 12 characters, including some letters, which further adds to my concerns.

Today, my father received a letter regarding his vaccination, and he successfully arranged his appointment through the website. To secure a booking, you’ll require a unique 12-digit code. The site clearly states that if you've been sent a booking invitation via text or in the post, you're free to book your slot online. When you ring the provided number, they confirm that they represent the Covid vaccine booking team. The website itself is incredibly straightforward; it solely consists of the booking area along with a directory of all the NHS organisations involved in the process. The whole system, with its codes and procedures, feels far too intricate to be any sort of scam, and best of all, there’s no request for payment whatsoever!

Tried to shoot a text to my 83-year-old mother-in-law, but I can't seem to reach her number. The link they provided isn't working either. What a bother!

It's not a con, merely a farce... my GP advised me to call this number, but the automated voice informs me they're not taking calls, only available from 08:15 to 20:00 (and here I am at 09:00, so clearly the system's in disarray). Frankly, I find it hard to feel proud of our NHS at the moment; the frontline staff are doing a stellar job, but the overall management seems utterly incompetent. To put it into perspective, my mother, who's in her 80s, received a Covid text about arranging her vaccine, while my father, in his 90s, is still left hanging. Despite my persistent efforts, I haven't been able to secure a vaccine appointment for him either. In times of crisis, the way a business is managed can either stand out or highlight its flaws, and let's just say those highly qualified administrators in the NHS sadly fall into the latter category, riding on the coattails of the nurses’ commendable efforts. I’d happily give a nurse a round of applause, but…

I'm seeing the same issue here - the mention of a website alongside the domain name in that text message raises some serious red flags. It feels a bit dodgy, to say the least!
