I got a couple of calls from this number and decided to pick up on the second try. To my surprise, it was actually the PIP folks and not a dodgy scam, which is what I initially assumed after glancing through the comments on this site.

I received a call from these folks who subsequently left a voicemail urging me to either click on a link or ring a number at my usual rate. To be honest, there was no voicemail to speak of and I wasn’t inclined to click on anything, as it all felt a bit dodgy.

In the span of just two days, I've received a trio of calls from this number. Each time, they claimed to represent BT, insisting that my internet security had been compromised. What's curious is that it was a different cold caller each occasion—various accents, both male and female, with none sounding particularly local. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!
