Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, saying my internet would be disconnected because of hacking issues. They couldn’t really verify they were from BT though. Definitely sounded dodgy, so I reckon it was a scam.

Been getting calls like these lately, where they say my IP was involved in breaking into some government network and that my broadband and phone line are about to get cut off. It's a complete con, don’t fall for it or share any details. The last time they rang, they asked if I knew my PC was involved in hacking a government website. I told them, yeah, I knew alright and that I was the hacker. The woman on the line just got silent for a while then abruptly ended the call.

Got a call from some bloke named Jason Grant, claiming that our computer was involved in hacking a Government Department and that our system was about to be shut off. They've phoned me like 5 times over the last 50 minutes. Quite fishy if you ask me!

I answered because the call showed an Ipswich number, and the person said my IP address had been involved in some government hacking. They said I could stay on the line to talk to someone about it. I just hung up straight away. After that, I’ve had four more calls like that but now I just block them.

It's me once more, they've called for the third time today. Usually there's that pre-recorded message at the beginning, but this time they hung up right before it kicked in. Bit disappointing, I was actually hoping to grab the number they want you to dial.

About 20 minutes ago I left a comment, and just now I got a call from that very same number again. The woman on the line claimed she was with BT, but when I asked if that meant Bangalore Telecom, she hung up straight away. How many times do you reckon they’ll try calling me today?

This person called me, speaking broken English, claiming my internet had been compromised. I told them I didn’t even have the internet, then suddenly the call dropped. After that, there was a message warning me that the phone line would be disconnected. Pretty sneaky with that taped message about being hacked!

Got a call just like what others were saying!

I’ve had this number ring me up 4 times today already. Finally sat through their automated message, it told me to call 02035140156. I waited to speak to someone but as soon as they picked up, they hung up on me straight away. Feeling pretty bored today so I think I’m just gonna mess about with them every time they try again.
