I got a call saying there was a payment of £840 tried on my card from somewhere called ‘remotely uk’. They told me to press one to report it as a “Ford” (yep, that’s how they said it) and talk to their ‘custer service’. Thing is, I’m not the main cardholder so how could they even contact me? And I’ve never heard of Ford being involved in anything like this. Pretty sure this is just a dodgy scam trying to trick people.

Got a call telling me my £32 monthly Amazon Prime subscription was about to end. When I pressed 1 like it said, an Asian sounding person answered and tried to convince me to keep paying. I told her I’d report the call to the police, then she just hung up. I’ve never even had an Amazon Prime account before.
