3 yearsI've had quite the run-in with a firm calling themselves 1st Business Connections Ltd, which seems to be associated with Valda Energy. They've been quoting absolutely ridiculous prices for energy, so we thought it best to reach out directly to the energy suppliers and also to 1st Business Energy with our concerns. However, during the call, a representative identifying himself as Sean Daniels got rather irate. He claimed they had never been accused of dishonest practices and was quite offended that we would raise such issues. The conversation ended up turning into a 15-minute debate because we simply wanted to express our worries. When we pressed further, he claimed he was merely trying to support his family and suggested they wouldn’t want our patronage if we were just looking to argue. They lack a website or an email contact, and they failed to provide satisfactory answers to our valid queries. My advice is to refrain from disclosing any personal information to them, and it’s wise to independently verify any claims made by companies like this. They seem to be functioning on some sort of dubious financial scheme-initially, they picked up, but now our number appears to be blocked by them. This clearly points to a lack of professionalism and legitimacy. Best to steer clear of them!1st Business Connections LtdValda Energy1st Business EnergySean Daniels3 yearsWhat a complete con job this is! It’s been lurking about since 2019, and I can’t stress this enough - keep your details to yourself! They've concocted some nonsense about tracing your energy provider, claiming they need to send you a so-called emergency bill for your electricity. Absolute rubbish! If you request that they drop you an email instead of blabbering on the phone, they simply cut the line. If you dare to ring them again, you can bet your bottom dollar they’ll just hang up on you. Whatever you do, keep your details to yourself! They’re fishing for info under the guise of wanting to know your electricity provider, claiming something ridiculous about an urgent power bill. Try requesting they send you an email and they promptly end the call, and if you attempt to ring them back, they swiftly cut you off.
