Occasional ringing from this number. It started out as a nuisance regarding dodgy mortgage deals, but now it just disconnects shortly after we answer. The caller seems to ignore any refusals. Another message raised alarm bells about our "credit falling" - possibly from a mobile? We thought such practices were illegal and could be blocked now. Initially thought to be coming from Essex, but it’s anyone’s guess; could easily be coming from Nigeria or Samoa these days.

Each time I pick up, the caller simply hangs up, and I can hear the sounds of what seems to be a call centre in the background.
