Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, saying there was a £99 charge for a Prime membership on my account and that I needed to take action if I didn’t know about it. The caller sounded super robotic so I ended up hanging up before the message finished. The number was local, so there’s no way it was actually Amazon. Looks like they were faking the area code to seem legit, but honestly that just made me more suspicious. Plus, why would Amazon ring my landline about my Prime subscription in the first place? Proper silly if you ask me! 😂
