Turns out it was a chap from a PPI claims centre. After introducing himself and addressing me by my full name, he proceeded to inform me about an unclaimed compensation of £3,500 allegedly due to me for a recent accident. I couldn’t believe my ears! I've never been in an accident, let alone filed a claim for anything. It felt utterly ridiculous, so I swiftly ended the call.
