I received a rather intrusive call from a gentleman whose name has entirely slipped my mind now (though it was distinctly posh) sporting a rather thick Indian accent. He claimed to be calling from 'Back on Track', referencing my online application after my loan request had been turned down. He was adamant that they could offer me a loan and merely needed me to continue with the application process. At first, I maintained my politeness and attempted to convey that I was fully aware of the reasons behind my application’s rejection, that I had no desire for a loan, nor did I wish to proceed further. However, he was exceedingly persistent, disregarding my 'no, thank you' and bulldozing over my attempts to interject. Eventually, I lost my temper and hung up.

You’ve just got to chuckle at the lengths we go to, haven’t you?
