it's really annoying trying to explain an injury claim to sales people - most of the time they just end the call. but i guess they're just humans doing their job!

Got a call from someone with a really thick accent saying they were from BT about issues with my “internet”. When I asked them for some proof or details to confirm who they were, they just hung up on me. Feels like another one of those scams where they say your computer is causing internet problems. Oddly enough, the number showed up as Heathvale Construction, which looks like a legit business. Is it actually possible for scammers to spoof real company numbers so the call looks like it’s coming from a proper firm?
