So I found out this number comes from a bitty village in Suffolk. Seems odd that a BT cybersecurity team or some dodgy scam call centre would be based there, so I’m pretty sure the caller ID was just faked.

Got a message saying it was BT's cybersecurity team warning me about illegal activity on my line and threatening to cut it off tomorrow if I didn't press 1 to talk to someone. When I looked up the number it came from, the prefix seems to be one used in parts of India, so I guess there's a good chance the call wasn’t actually from here, maybe some scam from overseas. Doesn't prove where it was from exactly, but it's definitely suspicious.
