These con artists seriously think they’re untouchable. When I called them out for targeting old and vulnerable folks, they got all smug and arrogant. One bloke told me, “While you lot, the working class, are stuck with a simple meal, we’ll be chilling on Miami’s shores with cocktails and fancy Lobster Thermidor before long.” They bragged about cashing in big time during the cost of living crisis, saying they’ve made millions while the rest of us struggle to make ends meet. Absolutely disgusting. 🤬

Got a weird call this afternoon on our landline, sounded like a robot saying there were two dodgy bank transactions blocked. They asked us to press some buttons but we didn’t bother, just ended the call. Tried ringing the number back later around 7pm but no one picked up and there wasn’t even a voicemail. The number wasn’t familiar at all, even though it’s from our local area. Feels like it might be a scam, definitely something to watch out for.
