Back on January 31st 2022, I got a call where the person said they were from Amazon. Judging by the accent and sounds in the background, it was definitely some call centre in India.

Got a call from 01473601078 saying there's an issue with my internet speed and asking if they can check it. They said they'd ring me again tomorrow. Felt dodgy to me - loads of scams these days and Sky wouldn’t ring like that!

Someone rang claiming to be from Amazon, saying they were verifying a purchase because vouchers were bought on my account. When I told them I'd look into it on my own and refused to share any info, they just ended the call.

So a guy pretending to be from Amazon called me, saying someone’s been using my info to make purchases. As soon as I told him it sounded dodgy, he hung up on me.
