I received an automated voice message indicating that my IP address had been hacked, claiming it would be suspended within a day unless I pressed 1 to chat with a technician. Clearly, it's just a dodgy scam!

I got a call with this exact message recently but the number was 01458-035414. A couple days before I got another one from an 01453 code. Pretty obvious it's the same scammer just changing their phone numbers. Even with all the scary warnings, my internet is still up and running - no shock there!

Complete con! Had a recorded voice telling me my internet is at risk and would be cut off in a day. Then they want you to hit 1 to chat with some “engineer.” Total rubbish.
