I just said hello and they ended the call straight away, no way am I ringing them back.

They rang me again saying it was about some premium bank account and that the government was making sure folks knew they could get cashback. They didn't bother checking who they were speaking to and just wanted to know how much I pay every month. I told them if the government wanted me to know anything, it would be on some official .gov site with all the details. When I asked if they were from the government, they said no, just a private company. So I asked what’s in it for them if they helped, and explained if I did it myself, all the money would be mine. Then they just hung up!

Somebody called saying they were from the Consumer Advice Bureau or something along those lines. They kept going on about a premium bank account I supposedly had, but I've never had one of those. When I asked to talk to the manager, the bloke just said he owned the whole company. Stay well clear, this definitely feels like a scam!
