Got loads of calls from different numbers with a recorded voice claiming it's "Shirley" telling me my internet's been hacked. They ask you to press "1" to talk to a tech expert. This has happened to me several times now. If you do end up chatting to the so-called techie, they often pretend to be from BT, but trust me, they’re just con artists. Best to ignore and not follow their instructions.

I got a recorded call saying my internet was hacked, press 1 to get help. When I didn’t press anything, the call just ended suddenly.
